JP Dutta in a fix
There's trouble brewing in JP Dutta paradise. The erstwhile director had signed on over a dozen of the industries biggest names for his mammoth project LoC based on the Kargil War. But we hear that now some of the stars are having second thoughts about working with Dutta. The claim that they haven't a foggiest idea of what they're doing in the film and with Dutta himself not being very forthcoming, confusion reigns. Rahul Dev, Rahul Khanna and Arbaaz Khan have apparently already opted out of the project. And Sunjay Dutt and Ajay Devgun have also begun reconsidering. Director Aamir Raza Hussain, who is also making a film on the same subject, has found a producer in Jhamu Sughand for his film, Lakeer. Looks like JP will have to pull up his socks and get act together before things get completely out of hand.
Sandali on a roll
Tum Bin put actress Sandali Sinha in the spotlight. But the lass didn't have too many offers coming her way. However, the TV actress turned film star has recently signed two films -- Ashok Honda's Om and Chandraprakash Dwivedi's Pinjar. Om has her play a pampered arrogant brat, while in Pinjar she plays a victim of the 1947 partition.
