After the debacle of Kyo Kii... Main Jhuth Nahin Bolta, Govinda desperately needed to get himself back into the public eye.

His latest gimmick -- an English song for his upcoming film Waah…Tera Kya Kehna which is being directed by Manoj Agarwal. Agarwal, of course, is all praise for the song and is confident that the number will be a chartbuster. We'll simply have to wait, watch and hear!

Ma Tujhe Salaam release postponed

Diwali 2001 was a complete washout at the Indian BO. And Bollywood producers have realised that the time just isn't right for any more releases.

The Sunny Deol starrer Ma Tujhe Salaam, which was to have been released on December 14, has now been postponed to January 25, to coincide with Republic Day.

One of the reasons of this delay could well be Karan Johar's Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham which releases on December 14. But, producer Mahesh Dhariwal, insists that this had nothing to do with his decision.

Yash Raj films on a roll

2001 has been a great year for the Yash Raj films banner. Mohabbatein completed a year at the theatres and the success of the film has inspired the Chopras to announce three films to be made in the coming year.

What's intriguing about this announcement is that all the three films will be made by upcoming directors.

The first film based on the Hollywood hit The Truth About Cats and Dogs will be directed by Kunal Kholi. It will have Hrithik Roshan, Karriena Kapoor, Rani Mukherjee and Uday Chopra essaying the leads.

The second film a remake of My Best Friend's Wedding is to be directed Yash Chopra's assistant director and will star Bipasha Basu, Uday Chopra and newcomer Tulip Joshi.

And Shaad Ali, son of director Muzzafar Ali , will direct the third film which is based on Mani Ratnam's Alai Payuthe. This film will star Vivek Oberoi and Rani Mukherjee. It is only after the completion of these three films that Aditya Chopra will announce his next film.

Mini-film to air on SABe TV

SABe TV is launch its new thriller serial Colonell from December 3. It will aslo air a 90-minute mini-film every Sunday beginning from December 2nd -- Telethriller. Produced by the Sri Adhikari brothers Telethriller is touted as the first mini film series to be telecast on Indian Satellite film.
