Farah Khan can't work with Andrew Lloyd Webber

Farha Khan Farah Khan has turned down Andrew Lloyd Webber's invitation to choreograph a show.

Why?
Because the dates required for the international show clashed with her current assignment -- Supari.

Hrithik's not singing, he's reciting

Hrithik Roshan Hrithik Roshan has recited a shairi — for film Mohan Kumar's next film, Aap Mujhe Achche Lagne Lage.

Hrithik, who stars opposite Amisha Patel recited the shairi at the beginning of an Udit Narayan song -- Hawaon ne yeh kahan, fizaon ne yeh kaha.

Rumour had it that Hrithik has sung a song, but that was untrue. The song has been penned by Dev Kohli and composed by the actor's uncle Rajesh Roshan.

Dollar Bahu to be televised

Sudha 'Infosys' Murthy's book Dollar Bahu will be transformed into a television serial by the same name.

Dollar Bahu was written originally in Kannada and has been translated into Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.

Actress Himani Shivpuri plays the mother-in-law, while Chandi Toor plays the bahu in this Zee TV presentation.

RBI guidelines for financing film production

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has issued guidelines for financing film production to commercial banks to prevent the industry from unscrupulous funding agencies, Finance Minister Yashwant Sinha informed the Lok Sabha on Friday, August 10.

These guidelines takes into account the high-risk involved in funding and schemes have built-in safeguard mechanisms regarding security of advances to this sector.

The Minister said that 4 cases of loans involving Rs 450 million have been processed while 12 others are in the pipeline
