Double trouble with Sunil and Aishwarya

Producer N Kumar's soon to be released Radheshyam Sitaram will see Sunil Shetty and Aishwarya Rai, playing double roles.

Rai plays Sita and Radha while macho man Shetty plays Ram and Shyam.

It was one of the first films Rai had signed on when she was a budding star and many of its scenes were shot years ago.

Dilip Kumar taken to court

A local court in Nasik, Maharashtra on August 4, stayed the non-bailable warrants issued against noted Hindi film actor Dilip Kumar in connection to alleged "land grabbing", till August 9.

Earlier, non-bailable warrants were issued to the actor, his brother, circle officer Ratnakar Shirsat and Sukdev Tajanpure, after they failed to appear before the court twice in June.

According to a complaint filed by Meerabai, widow of freedom fighter Shivram Khanderao Borate, Dilip Kumar had allegedly "grabbed" 19 acres of land belonging to Borate in Dudgaon village near Trimbakeshware.

Aamir -- the perfectionist

We all know that Aamir a perfectionist.

So it's not surprising to hear that the ball used in Lagaan was personally ordered by Aamir from the only manufacturers of cricket balls in London. They have been manufacturing cricket balls since the period in the film was set in.

Aamir asked them for an exact replica of the balls used during the 1800s and used only those in the film.

Tejaswini raring to go

The latest model to join the film bandwagon is younger sister of the Padmini Kolhapure -- Tejaswini.

Her brother-in-law Tutu produces her debut film Paanch. She is also working a film with Sudhir Mishra, costarring Sanjay Dutt, and written by Anurag Kashyap.
