A Bollywood record!

Komal Nahta

Any guesses on how long it took to complete Jackie Shroff's Jis Desh Mein Ganga Rehta Hai?

While, on an average, a Hindi film takes 100 to 125 shooting days, director Mahesh Manjrekar has set a record of sorts. This superquick director actually completed Jis Desh Mein... in--hold your breath--35 days!

This, despite starring superstar Govinda! For he is one actor well-known for playing truant with producers. Jis Desh Mein... surely must have been the fastest film of his career.

While Rajkumar Santoshi, Indra Kumar and Dharmesh Darshan have a reputation of taking a long time to complete films, directors like Yash Chopra and David Dhawan are normally done in 70 to 80 days. But Mahesh Manjrekar has outdone even the fastest in Bollywood.

Is your chest puffed up yet, producer Jackie Shroff ?!
