Chasing Vijayakanth
Vijayakanth's poll manager had asked us to come to the General Hospital in Vridhachalam. Why would someone campaign in a hospital, we had wondered. But when we reached there, we understood the gravity of the situation.
Shaktivel, a DMDK party worker, was admitted in the hospital. DMDK workers (in the picture) alleged he was beaten up by the rival party, which was dominant there till Vijayakanth caught the attention of the people. We were shown the FIR filed at the police station.
