With the National Democratic Alliance government assuming power in Jharkhand, Bharatiya Janata Party president Lal Kishenchand Advani on Sunday said he saw 'some glimpses' of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in the latest developments in the state.
After the Shibu Soren-led United Progressive Alliance government was sworn in in Jharkhand, Advani, during the debate on the motion of thanks to the President's address in the Lok Sabha, had described Singh as being 'invisible'. He had said the authority of the prime minister's office was not being felt.
Singh had dismissed Advani's charges, saying he should be judged by the performance of the UPA government.
On the situation in Bihar, Advani, who was in Mangalore to attend the concluding session of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh's Akhil Bharat Pratinidhi Sabha, the outfit's highest policy-making body, said the situation was yet to crystallize.
"Now the situation is developing. As and when it evolves, we will consult NDA leaders in Bihar and decide the future course of our action," he told reporters.
Advani said the NDA's major target in Bihar, now under President's rule, was to free the state from the 15 years of RJD's 'jungle raj'.
