The Lok Janshakti Party on Sunday rejected the Rashtriya Janata Dal's request for support to form a government in Bihar in the wake of the hung assembly in the state.

''I have already said the LJP will neither seek nor extend support for formation of a government led by either the RJD or the BJP-JD(U) combine,'' Paswan told media persons. He said he wanted to see the RJD out of power.

RJD spokesman Sivanand Tiwari and Union Minister of State for Food Akhilesh Singh had said their party would approach Paswan for support to form the government.
