Bhujbal - Fighting for survival

< Back > < Start >
Bhujbal's candidature came at the expense of Narendra Vikaji Gadade, who lost to his Sena rival by just 221 votes.

Gadade has clout in the constituency. The secret: he has never let his supporters down, whether it concerns procuring a job, a seat in the local polytechnic or some other favour. He is now constantly at Bhujbal's side, planning his electoral strategy and providing men and material.

In Mahakhede Patoda, Bhujbal tells the audience that he has been the deputy chief minister and if the NCP notches sufficient number of seats, there is no reason why he cannot be the chief minister. "You have seen others, now give me a chance."
