Punjab CLP to meet on Tuesday: Amarinder

Election 2002

Punjab Congress chief Amarinder Singh, who steered his party to a stunning victory in the state assembly polls, said the party's newly-elected legislators would meet on Tuesday to elect their leader.

Talking to reporters here, he hoped there would not be any problem in reaching a consensus in this regard.

He said the CLP meeting would be attended by senior party leaders Moti Lal Vora, Ambika Soni, Ahmed Patel and Hari Prasad.
