BJP meet to end Sena stalemate

Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leaders will meet this morning in a bid to end the stalemate with its ally, the Shiv Sena, which has decided to support a Bharatiya Janata Party government in Maharashtra only from outside.

The meeting would be held at the official residence of Deputy Chief Minister Gopinath Munde in Bombay.

State BJP spokesman Prakash Jawdekar said that the meeting will discuss the entire issue and try to end the confusion. He, however, said that the alliance was intact though there have been reports that ties among the partners would be snapped.
