After the 1-1 drawn series against Pakistan, India (48.74) are now third in the
Rediff Test Rankings, just a whisker ahead of South Africa (48.36). But they're unlikely to stay there for too long. South Africa, who easily defeated Zimbabwe 2-0 in the recent home series, should inch ahead, especially if they end up playing a West Indian team without Lara and the others.
Australia (84.59) dropped a point even though they overwhelmed New Zealand 2-0 in their away series. Australia are now on such a pedestal that even one drawn Test brings them down by a little. New Zealand (37.96) are now sixth behind fifth-placed Pakistan (38.79).
