# Amit Mishra is the third bowler to tally 14 wickets (ave.13.78) in the sixth edition of the IPL.
# Dwayne Bravo became the first Chennai bowler to bag 14 wickets (ave.16.64) in eight matches in the current competition. Sunil Narine was the first to complete 14 wickets at 11.35 runs apiece in six IPL games.
# Mishra (88 at an average of 19.57 in 67 matches) equalled Malinga's tally of 88 (average 17.09) in 61 games, sharing a record for claiming most wickets in the IPL.
# Karan Sharma recorded an economy rate of 2.00 -- the best in a four-over spell in the IPL 6.
# Chennai Super Kings became the first team to register four consecutive victories at the IPL 6. They became the second side after Bangalore to post six wins in eight games.
Dhoni first batsman to record double of 2000 runs and 50 dismissals

# Mahendra Singh Dhoni became the first batsman to complete 2000 runs as captain in the IPL, totalling 2017 (ave.37.35), including eleven fifties, in 86 games.
# Overall, Dhoni became eighth batsman to amass 2000 runs at the IPL. He became the first captain/wickekeeper to complete the double of 2000 runs and fifty dismissals at the IPL.
# Dhoni's match-winning unbeaten 67 off 37 balls -- his highest score at the IPL 6 -- his second half century in the present tournament.
# Dhoni received his eighth Man of the Match award at the IPL.
# Dhoni, with Cameron White's catch, effected his 100th dismissal as wicketkeeper to complete the double of 3000 runs and 100 dismissals in Twenty20 -- his overall tally being 70 catches + 35 stumpings.

# Michael Hussey took his run-aggregate to 350 at an average of 70.00 in seven games. The said tally is the second highest in the IPL 6, next only to the 432 (ave.108.00) in eight games by Chris Gayle.
# Dale Steyn bowled most dot balls (94) at the IPL 2013, followed by Bhuvneshwar Kumar (86) and Ishant Sharma (83).
# Sunrisers Hyderabad (159/6) recorded their second highest score at the IPL, next only to the 161 for six against RCB at Bangalore on April 9, 2013.
# Shikhar Dhawan's superb unbeaten 63 off 45 balls was his 14th innings of fifty or more in the IPL. His innings was the highest individual knock for Sunrisers Hyderabad.
# Ashish Reddy (unbeaten 36 off 16 balls) recorded his best ever score in Twenty20. He was associated in an unbroken stand of 43 with Dhawan for the seventh wicket – Sunrisers Hyderabad's highest at the IPL.
# Suresh Raina became the first batsman to manage 1000 runs at Chepauk, Chennai or at any venue at the IPL -- 1014 (ave. 31.69) in 37 games.
