India's cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is a self proclaimed ‘absolute pet-lover'.
Time and again the man with the midas touch has made known his affection for dogs through social networking sites.
Recently, Dhoni adopted a rescued stray pup from the 'Hope and Animal Trust' in Ranchi.

Dhoni posted a picture of the pup on his Twitter page, and named the new entrant to his family as 'Leah'.
"Adopted a rescued pup from Hope and Animal Trust Ranchi. We call her Leah in English and Liya in Hindi," he wrote in his Twitter handle.
Dhoni has three dogs - Zara (Black labrador), Zoya (Weimaraner) and Sam (mixed bread German shepherd).

Sports stars have many ways to relax; some like music, while some like to sleep it off.
But when it comes to the smashing wicketkeeper-batsman of Team India, he wears his love for dogs on his sleeves.

Dhoni’s Twitter and Facebook posts include his pets. May be, that's because Sakshi too loves animals.
Mrs Dhoni also 'adopted' two female and one male street dog. She named the male "Sultan" and it was much appreciated among social networking fans.

Dhoni shares his stress with "man's best friend!"
He had adopted a nine-year-old tiger, named 'Agasthya', from the Chamarajendra Zoological park, better known as Mysore zoo in 2011.

Another fetish of Dhoni is his love for bikes. Two-wheeled demons strike a chord with him. He also owns a team -- Mahi Racing Team -- in the World Supersport Championship.
Now that he has break from the game, he spends time restoring his old bikies.
"I think my plan of action is to restore the 1st bike tht I bought for rs4500, will upload its pic maybe tomorrow.its in a very bad shape," he wrote.
"Tell me one business where home delivery of the product is cheaper compared to the price of the product when u go and pick it up," he asked his followers on Twitter.
"In Ranchi if the milkman delivers milk to ur house he charges 32 rs but if u go and pick it from his place he asks for 34 rs."
