India, Windies teams arrive in Vadodara

Members of the India and West Indies teams arrived in Vadodara on Sunday evening amid tight security for the fourth and final ODI match to be played at the IPCL Sports Complex ground on January 31.

Immediately after their arrival at the Vadodara airport from Mumbai, the players were driven straight to Taj Residency hotel at Akota.

According to BCA sources, a few members of the Indian team and Windies' captain Brian Lara would join the team on Monday morning.

Both

the teams are scheduled to practice at the nets on Monday at the IPCL ground with the arrival of other team members in morning flights.

India are leading the 4-match series by 2-1 after having lost the Chennai ODI to the visitors by three wickets on Saturday.

Besides senior BCCI officials, the 5-member selection panel, headed by Dilip Vengsarkar are scheduled to arrive here on Tuesday to select the Indian squad for the forthcoming ODI series against Sri Lanka.
