Disappointed with the way pacers bowled: Dhoni
The 19-year-oldclaimed five wickets on his ODI debut as Bangladesh thrashed the two-time World champions by 79 runs at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.
Bangladesh found an unlikely hero in Rahman. The man-of-the-match said he was eager to come up with an impressive show against India.
"I know only a few have taken five on debut, but all I wanted was to do well against India," said Rahman.
As the eighth-ranked side stunned the No 2 India, Bangladesh skipper Mashrafe Mortaza was delighted.
"I cannot ask for more. I'm really happy with the performance from the boys," an elated Mortaza said.
He also lauded the stellar performance of Rahman.
"Mustafizur was not a surprise package for us. We know he can destroy any batsman. It was a brilliant start from Tamim Iqbal and Soumya Sarkar. We lost a bit of momentum with the rain, but Sabbir Rahman and Shakib Al Hasan did it for us.
"Yes, it was a bit of a risk to play four pacers, but I trusted my boys."
