Seeking blessings of Mumbai’s oldest and popular Lord Ganesh idols, Sachin Tendulkar along with his family visited Lalbaugcha Raja in Mumbai on Sunday.

Tendulkar, who was accompanied by wife Anjali, daughter Sara and son Arjun, offered prayers and took blessing of Lord Ganesha at the most popular Ganesh Mandal in Mumbai.

Ganesh Chaturthi is one of the most important festivals in Maharashtra and Mumbaikars celebrate it with pomp and joy.

Lakhs of people turn up from far-off places, including foreigners, and stand for hours in queues running into several kilometres only to get a ‘darshan’ of the idol located in Lalbaug, Central Mumbai.
