England opener Michael Vaughan will be fit for the last two Ashes Tests against Australia despite suffering from a fractured shoulder, the BBC reported on Saturday.

Vaughan sustained the injury after being struck by a delivery from Australia fast bowler Jason Gillespie during his innings of 177 in the second Test in Adelaide. He pulled out of England's squad for the first four matches of the current one-day tournament against Australia and Sri Lanka.

"The shoulder

injury hasn't stopped me playing and it hasn't stopped me doing anything so I don't perceive it to be any sort of problem," Vaughan was quoted as saying on the BBC website.

"It doesn't restrict my movement at the crease or anything like that," he added. "It was just sore for the couple of weeks after I did it so as a precaution I had it scanned."

England go into the fourth Test in Melbourne, which starts on Thursday, 3-0 down in the series.
