India elect to field in second ODI

India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and elected to field in the second one-day international of the five-match series against Sri Lanka in Dambulla on Wednesday.

India have made two changes to the side which lost the opening one-dayer on Monday by eight wickets.

Praveen Kumar has come in for Pragyan Ojha while Subramaniam Badrinath is making his debut, replacing Gautam Gambhir, who was ruled out due to a stiff neck. All-rounder Irfan Pathan is set to open the batting with youngster Virat Kohli.

For Sri Lanka, veteran Chaminda Vaas has been replaced by Dilhara Fernando.
