Australia’s David Warner cracked a quick-fire century – his fastest at the Sydney Cricket Ground – against Pakistan, on Day 1 of the 3rd Test on Monday.

In so doing, the opener became the first Australian since Donald Bradman to smash a ton before lunch on the first day.

Here is a list of batsmen who have scored centuries before lunch on the opening day of a Test match after Australia's David Warner achieved the feat on Tuesday…

2017: David Warner (Australia) v Pakistan, Sydney

David Warner's ton is the first instance where a batsman has scored 100 in the first session of a Test match in Australia.

1976: Majid Khan (Pakistan) v New Zealand, Karachi

The only non-Australian to post a Test century before lunch on the first day of a Test was Pakistan's Majid Khan (108), who did so against New Zealand in Karachi in 1976.

1930: Donald Bradman (Australia) v England, Leeds

Don Bradman was the last batsman before Warner to achieve the landmark with 105 in Leeds in 1930 on his way to a triple century (334) against England.

1926: Charles Macartney (Australia) v England, Leeds

Charlie Macartney was the second man from Down Under who hit a ton in the first session of play, scoring 112 at Leeds in 1926.

1902: Victor Trumper (Australia) v England, Manchester

The first ever Test cricketer and first Australian to reach the landmark in the first session on Day 1 of a Test match was Victor Trumper, who hit a 103 in Manchester in 1902.
