Mumbai Indians owner Nita Ambani threw a lavish party at her Mumbai residence, Antilla, on Monday night to celebrate her franchise's second Indian Premier League triumph.
Earlier in the evening, the Rohit Sharma-led team celebrated at the Wankhede stadium as scores of fans thronged the venue to congratulate them.
Rohit, Ms Ambani, team icon Sachin Tendulkar and members of the support staff -- Ricky Ponting, John Wright, Jonty Rhodes, Anil Kumble, Robin Singh and Shane Bond -- did a victory lap around the stadium as other members of the victorious team -- Harbhajan Singh, Lasith Malinga, Parthiv Patel, Kieron Pollard, Ambati Rayadu -- posed with the IPL winners' trophy.
On Sunday, Mumbai Indians clinched their second IPL title after a thumping 41-run victory over twice champions Chennai Super Kings, in Kolkata.
