Cheteshwar Pujara continues to be the only Indian batsman in the top-10 list as he managed to maintain his seventh spot, while off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin is the highest-ranked bowler at number eight, in the latest ICC Test rankings issued on Sunday.
Pujara has 777 points against his name in the list headed by South Africa's Hashim Amla (903 points).
Meanwhile, Bangladesh's Sohag Gazi has rocketed up the table after becoming the first cricketer to score a century and take a hat-trick in a Test against New Zealand, which ended in a draw at Chittagong on Sunday.
Ashwin third in all-rounders' list topped by Kallis
Image: R AshwinSohag followed up his unbeaten 101 in Bangladesh's first innings total of 501 with a hat-trick on the final day. The achievement saw him make upward movements in all the three categories -- batsmen, bowlers and all-rounders list.
In the batsmen's rankings, Sohag has moved up 37 places to be at 119, while in the bowlers' chart, the 22-year-old off-spinner has jumped 13 places to 36th.
In the Test all-rounders' table, he has gained 29 places to climb to 31st spot.
As far as all-rounders' list is concerned, Ashwin has held on to his third position. Jacques Kallis of South Africa tops the chart with Bangladesh's Shakib Al Hasan in second place.
Meanwhile, there is no major change in the top 20 in the bowling table that is headed by Dale Steyn of South Africa.
