Defending champions Mumbai earned two points on account of their 206-run first innings lead against Andhra as the 'Elite' Group 'A' Ranji Trophy cricket match ended in a draw in Vijaywada on Thursday.
At close, Mumbai were 25 for no loss in their second innings, with Vinayak Mane on 18 and Wasim Jaffer on six.
Earlier, Andhra, who resumed at 162 for three, lost skipper M S K Prasad's wicket following a run-out effected by Sairaj Bahutule. Prasad scored 72 in 345 balls with the help of just one boundary.
I Srinivas joined Watekar and the duo added 63 runs for the fifth wicket before Watekar was dismissed by Amol Majumdar. Watekar scored 37 (4x4, 166 minutes, 119 balls).
At lunch, Andhra were 232 for five.
In the second session, Robin Morris caused most of the damage to Andhra, taking the wickets of S Sriniwas (33) and R V Ch Prasad (0) in his 13th over. He went on to take one more wicket.
Andhra's Shahbuddin (15) was caught behind off Nilesh Kulkarni as the home team lost five wickets after lunch before they were all out for 298.
Mumbai now have 13 points from four matches, while Andhra have six after four matches.
