Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli celebrated his 29th birthday with his teammates after the second ODI against New Zealand in Rajkot on Sunday.
Kohli was left plastered with cake as Team India celebrated in style.
The skipper being the sport he is, tweeted, “Thank you everyone for all the love and the wishes. God Bless you all...”
Kohli's friends, fans, colleagues, including both former and current cricketers did not miss an opportunity of showering their love and wishing him on this special day.
Hardik Pandya took to Twitter after Kohli's birthday celebrations and posted a picture with the India captain and captioned it, "Revenge No 1. Happy birthday, skipper".
However, Kohli's birthday celebrations were a bit soured by India's loss in the 2nd T20I to New Zealand.
Opener Colin Munro smashed a career-best 109 not out to help secure New Zealand's series-levelling 40-run victory in the second Twenty20 International.
Munro smacked seven sixes and as many boundaries in his 58-ball blitz to help New Zealand post a commanding 196-2, in a match they needed to win to stay alive in the three-match contest.
