The future of India's bowling coach Joe Dawes and fielding consultant Trevor Penny will be decided at the all-important Working Committee meeting of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, in Chennai on September 26.

While the fate of annual AGM will be one of the primary agendas at the meeting, the fate of the Australian bowling coach and Zimbabwean fielding coach would also be decided upon.

"Yes, the working committee will discuss about the appointments of the support staff. Dawes' and Penny's case will also come up for discussion," BCCI secretary Sanjay Patel said on Wednesday.

While Patel refused to divulge what lay in store for the duo, who were sent on leave after India's disastrous showing in the Test series in England, it has been learnt that BCCI top brass are working on the exit clause of the foreign duo as the trio of Sanjay Bangar, R Sridhar and Bharat Arun are set to get long-term contracts.

"The BCCI is very happy with the work put in by the new group of support staff in a such short time before the ODI series against England started. Obviously, the Indian trio deserve a long run and their chances at this point looks very bright," a source said.

The Working Committee of the BCCI will also discuss the report of team director Ravi Shastri and the former India all-rounder would be made an offer to continue at the helm till the World Cup.

However Shastri hasn't said anything on whether he would like to continue in that position considering his busy schedule and media commitments.
