Legendary fast bowler Wasim Akram will make his comeback as the bowling coach of Kolkata Knight Riders for the seventh edition of Indian Premier League after a hiatus of one year.
Akram had been the bowling coach of KKR for three successive seasons till 2012 with the last season being the victorious one for the Shah Rukh Khan co-owned
franchise but he missed last year's IPL.
"Akram has told us that his services would be available for the full length of the tournament this time," KKR CEO Venky Mysore said in Kolkata on Thursday.
