Following New Zealand's impressive performance in the Ahmedabad Test, former India skipper Kapil Dev on Saturday said India should not commit the mistake of underestimating the resilient Kiwis.
"No team should underestimate the strength of another team. New Zealand is a team which may not be full of stars but they have committed players," he told reporters on the sidelines of an event in Mumbai.
Commenting on Sachin Tendulkar, who enters his 21st year in the international cricket this month, Kapil Dev said, the good thing about the batting maestero is that he still enjoys the game.
"It is only when he retires, it would be known how he survived for so long in the international cricket," the all rounder added.
