Suspended Indian Premier League commissioner Lalit Modi has demanded that he be provided with a copy of all the decisions taken at the Cricket Board's Special General Meeting held in Mumbai on Saturday, his legal counsel Mehmood Abdi said.

A letter to this effect was dashed off by Modi to BCCI president Shashank Manohar and secretary N Srinivasan late last night by e-mail and was also hand-delivered, Abdi said.

The BCCI's SGM nominated Jyotiraditya Scindia as replacement for Manohar in the reconstituted three-member disciplinary panel to conduct proceedings against Modi who had been issued three show cause notices alleging various irregularities in the conduct of IPL.

Manohar, who recused himself from the disciplinary panel also comprising BCCI vice-presidents Chirayu Amin and Arun Jaitley following a demand to this effect by Modi, was also authorised by the Board's members to file criminal and civil charges with the appropriate authorities against Modi.

The SGM also ratified the decision of Srinivasan to refer the charges against Modi and his replies to the three show cause notices to the reconstituted disciplinary panel.

"Mr Modi has written a letter to Mr Manohar and Mr Srinivasan to confirm that the decision of the honorary secretary to refer the issues raised in the three show cause notices to him and his reply thereof are referred to the disciplinary committee," Abdi said.

"The second point raised is confirmation of the recusal by the honorary president from proceedings to the show cause notices to Mr Modi and that Mr Jyotiraditya Scindia has been appointed a member of the disciplinary committee," Abdi said.

And the third point is confirmation that the Board has authorised the president and secretary to initiate all criminal and civil proceedings, including filing of First Information Report, before the appropriate police station, he said.

"The BCCI has been called upon to provide him (Modi) with copy of such decision or resolution by the general body of the Board at its SGM on July 3 forthwith as the same directly impinges on and affects his interest," Abdi said.
