China man bowler Kuldeep Yadav has been brought in as replacement for Amit Mishra for the one-off Test against Bangladesh to be played in Hyderabad on Thursday.
The All-India Senior Selection Committee called on Yadav after Mishra was ruled out of the match having sustained a knee injury while fielding in the Bengaluru T20I match against England last week.
Mishra has been advised rest and will undergo further medical examination, the BCCI stated.
Yadav has played for India under-19 and India A but is yet to make his debut for the senior side.
The 22-year-old was previously picked in the India's one-day international series against West Indies in October 2014 but did not play a game.
