Royal Challengers Bangalore batsman Kedar Jadhav believes there was no need to promote young Sarfaraz Khan in the batting order when they meet Delhi Daredevils in an IPL match in Bengaluru on Saturday.

"I don't see any changes in the batting line-up because everyone is doing well at their respective positions. So, if Sarfaraz is doing well at number five, he should stick to that, and that is what he can do best for the team," Jadhav said on the eve of the match at Chinnaswamy stadium.
Asked about the return of Samuel Badree, Jadhav said he does not have any idea when the West Indian tweaker would return, but lavished praise on the contributions made by Yuzuvendra Chahal who shouldered the responsibility of RCB's spin attack.
"I don't have any idea when Badree is going to return, but regarding Yuzi, he has been doing well for RCB over the years and he is a quality bowler in domestic cricket. Yes, you are right, he is one of the main spinners we have currently, but the moment Badree will be here, his presence will only strengthen our bowling," he said.
Asked about RCB bowlers leaking too many runs, Jadhav said it is inappropriate to blame the bowlers because the ground and the boundaries here are too short.
"I guess it is a high scoring ground, so you cannot blame bowlers for it ... The deck here is a complete batting paradise and has a small boundary. So, as a batsman you have to put enough runs on the board to back our bowlers," he said.
Regarding Mishra, Jadhav said batsmen know his variations as they have faced him for the last eight years of IPL.
"It is not like that we have not played him before. From last seven to eight years, he has been playing in IPL, so everyone knows what his variations are. So, we obviously looking forward to tackle him the way we know best."
Jadhav said he is enjoying the association with world class RCB batsmen, which was not the case when he was playing for Delhi Daredevils, as he played most of the time under tremendous pressure due to poor batting line-up.
"While playing for Delhi, I used to be under pressure most of the time. They used to lose early wickets because we had inexperienced batting lineup, but here we have best batting lineup. I am enjoying world class batters bat and learning from them," he said.
"When it comes to finishing role, yes that's my job over the years, and I do very well at it," he added.
Jadhav said the Indian core contingent will play a big role in improving the chances of qualifying into the next stage of the IPL.
"Yes definitely, all the teams which had good domestic and Indian players… So I feel we have right combination of Indian, domestic and foreign players this year. Yes, we are looking a very strong unit and looking to qualify convincingly," he said.
