Kolkata Knight Riders spinner Brad Hogg received an official reprimand by the match referee for using inappropriate language during his side's five-wicket defeat in their Indian Premier League (IPL) clash against Gujarat Lions at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, on Sunday.

Hogg admitted to the level 1 offence (Article 2.1.7 of the IPLCode of Conduct for Players and Team Officials) and accepted the sanction.

In his two overs, the 45-year-old Australian picked up one wicket while giving away 19 runs.
