"The franchises shared their views and extended their support and cooperation for a successful Pepsi IPL 2014," a BCCI release said.
Gavaskar was ordered by the Supreme Court to take over as BCCI interim chief after N Srinivasan was suspended.
The Court noted that Gavaskar, as interim BCCI president, will only manage all dealings related to the upcoming IPL season, and after the completion of the tournament, any of the BCCI vice-presidents, preferably the senior-most, can take over from him.
It also directed Shivlal Yadav, the senior-most vice-president of the BCCI, to look after the affairs of the board.
The first leg of the IPL will be held in UAE from April 16-30 due to general elections in India.
