Kolkata Knight Riders captain Gautam Gambhir was fined for his team's slow over-rate during the IPL match against Delhi Daredevils at the Ferozeshah Kotla.
At the end of Monday night's match, Kolkata Knight Riders were assessed to be one over behind the required rate after allowances were taken into consideration.
Since it was Gambhir's first offence of the season, under the IPL's Code of Conduct relating to minimum over-rate offences, the Kolkata skipper was fined US $20,000.
