Ian Bell's maiden Test double hundred (235) in the fourth Test against India at The Oval took him to top of the list of leading batsmen in Test cricket in 2011. The knock eclipsed his previous Test best --?199, against South Africa at Lord's in 2008.
Bell also reached another landmark during his innings -- 5, 000 Test runs, as England won the Test by a comprehensive innings and eight runs and swept the series 4-0, their first over India in 37 years, since winning 3-0 in 1974.
Here's a look at the leading batsmen and bowlers in Tests.
