India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and elected to field against England in the Super Eight match of the ICC World Twenty20 at Lord's on Sunday.

Defending champions India need to win the match to stay alive in the tournament after their seven-wicket loss to the West Indies in their first match of the Super Eights.

India made two changes, bringing in left-arm pacer R P Singh for Irfan Pathan, but Pragyan Ojha was surprisingly dropped in favour of all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja.

Left-arm spinner Ojha is India's top wicket-taker in the tournament so far with seven victims from three matches, at an average of 9.71, and an economy rate of 6.18.

Hosts England also made one change, bringing in left-arm pacer Ryan Sidebottom for Adil Rashid.

India: Mahendra Singh Dhoni (captain), Yuvraj Singh (vice-captain), Gautam Gambhir, Rohit Sharma, Suresh Raina, Yusuf Pathan, Ravindra Jadeja, Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan, RP Singh, Ishant Sharma.

England: Paul Collingwood (captain), Luke Wright, Ravi Bopara, Kevin Pietersen, Dimitri Mascarenhas, Owais Shah, James Foster (w/k), Graeme Swann, Stuart Broad, Ryan Sidebottom, James Anderson.
