ICC World Cup-winning Indian Under-19 team captain Unmukt Chand has said he doesn't like to imitate any cricketer as he believes in the philosophy of following on his own footsteps.

Asked whether he would like to model himself with the likes of Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid, the Delhi lad promptly replied: "I want to model myself."

Chand said he had been interacting with many senior cricketers to prepare himself for the upcoming India A tour to New Zealand, where the team will play three unofficial ODIs and two unofficial Tests.

"I spoke to many senior players. I also interacted with Virat (Kohli), it helps," he said.

Unmukt ChandAsked about Yuvraj Singh's return to international cricket after recovering from cancer, Chand said, "I wish him good luck for the upcoming T20 World Cup at Sri Lanka."

Asked to react on Dravid's opinion that youngsters who want to break into the Indian team should first gain experience at the first-class level, Chand said presently he is not thinking of playing for the senior side.

"I have got India A tour to New Zealand coming up and I am preparing for it. I want to do well in the tour. Getting selected for India is not in my mind," he said.

Chand also said that he loved all three - Test, ODIs and T20s - formats of the game as all demanding in nature.

Chand said he was feeling good about all the attention he was getting after winning the ICC Under-19 World Cup in Australia.

"It was a dream for us to realise. We had worked hard to get there," he said.
