New Zealand’s bowlers exploited the favorable conditions at the Wankhede Stadium, decimating India’s top order in the early overs.

India's batting collapse was swift and brutal. Despite a promising start from Rishabh Pant, who scored a quickfire 64, the rest of the batting lineup crumbled under the pressure.

One by one, Indian batters fell prey to the Kiwi bowlers, unable to withstand the relentless attack. India's innings disintegrated, leaving them all out for a meager 121 runs.

1st Wicket: Rohit Sharma (11 off 11 balls)

Ajaz continued his impact, removing Kohli in his next over with a beautifully flighted delivery that turned sharply. Kohli, trying to defend, edged it to Daryl Mitchell at slip, who took a low catch. Kohli’s early exit deepened India’s troubles as they slumped to 18/3, wrapping up a difficult series for the star batter.

4th Wicket: Yashasvi Jaiswal (5 off 16 balls)

Ravindra Jadeja, known for his counter-attacking abilities, tried to steady the ship with a patient innings. However, Ajaz Patel struck again, inducing an inside edge that was smartly caught by Will Young.

Rishabh Pant's blistering 64-run knock was cut short by a controversial LBW decision.

The Indian wicketkeeper-batter couldn't believe the call as he argued that the UltraEdge spike was caused by the bat hitting the pads. Despite his protests, the decision stood, leaving the Wankhede Stadium stunned.

New Zealand spinner Ajaz Patel continued his impressive performance, claiming his fifth wicket of the innings.

8th Wicket: R Ashwin (6 off 22 balls)

Ravichandran Ashwin

R Ashwin's risky reverse sweep attempt ended in disappointment as he was caught behind for eight runs. The umpire's decision was upheld by the DRS, despite Ashwin's review. The UltraEdge technology clearly showed a spike as the ball passed the gloves, confirming the decision. India's innings continued to crumble, reaching 121/8 in the 29th over.

9th Wicket: Akash Deep (1 off 1 balls)

Glenn Phillips continued his destructive spell, dismissing Akash Deep with a sharp turning delivery. Deep was clean bowled as the ball crashed into his stumps, leaving India reeling.

10th Wicket: Washington Sundar (12 off 25 balls)
