A Chandigarh court on Wednesday declined the exemption application seeking permanent injunction from personal appearance of cricketer Harbhajan Singh and directed him to be present before the court on July 1 in a case of allegedly hurting religious sentiments of particular community in a reality show.

"Judicial magistrate Dr Rajneesh has summoned all accused -- Bhajji, TV actress Mona Singh and Colour channel officials -- on July 1 and asked them to furnish bail bonds," said lawyer Arvind Thakur.

During the show Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena' which was telecast on Colors channel last October, spinner Harbhajan and Mona danced as Ravana and Sita, sparking a controversy.
