Australia wicketkeeper-batsman Brad Haddin has been fined 10 per cent of his match fee for breaching the ICC Code of Conduct during his team's seven-wicket defeat against England in the final of the ICC World Twenty20 at Kensington Oval.

Haddin was charged with a Level 1 offence under article 2.1.3 of the code, which relates to "showing dissent at an umpire's decision during an international match".

The right-hander pleaded guilty to the charge and as such, under the provisions of the code, Match Referee Ranjan Madugalle determined the matter without the need for a full hearing.

The match referee imposed a fine equivalent to 10 per cent of the player's match fee.

The charge was brought by on-field umpires Billy Doctrove and Aleem Dar as well as third umpire Billy Bowden and fourth official Rudi Koertzen.
