An FIR has been lodged against Rajasthan Cricket Academy (RCA) secretary Sanjay Dixit and contractor Kani Lal over dismantling of a makeshift VIP stand during the second One-day International against New Zealand on December 1 at the Sawai Man Singh stadium.
The FIR was lodged with Jyoti Nagar police station following the directives of a local court on the complaint of one Pratul Sinha.
"We lodged the FIR under sections 166, 177, 188, 199, 392, 308, 351, 337, 336, 338, 341, 351, 500, 506 and 120 (B) of IPC after we received the directives from the court of additional chief judicial magistrate Jaipur," Lakhan Singh, SHO Jyoti Nagar said.
A part of the stand had collapsed during the India-New Zealand match in which around half a dozen people got injured.
