Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni achieved a unique distinction after India humiliated England by nine wickets the fourth ODI in Birmingham, on Tuesday.
It was India's 91st ODI win under him, and makes him India’s most successful captain in the 50-overs format, ahead of Mohammad Azharuddin.
With 27 wins in Tests and Twenty20 Internationals each, Dhoni is already India's most successful captain in the two formats.
Dhoni holds the record of winning most matches in all three formats -- the first Indian and also the first among current captains from all sides.
