Shan Masood was wrongly adjudged LBW in 2nd Test vs New Zealand in Dubai last month
Cricket's Hawk-eye officials have reportedly accepted that the judgment of the review system in the dismissal of Pakistan batsman Shan Masood in the second Test against New Zealand in Dubai last month was erroneous.
Masood was given out off a Trent Boult yorker and when he asked for a review, the hawk-eye technology projected the path to be cutting in to hit leg stump after pitching in front of it, The Express Tribune reported.

However, the fact that the delivery was an in-swinging yorker made Pakistan captain Misbah-ul Haq and chief selector Moin Khan file a complaint to the International Cricket Council ( ICC ) on the inconsistency of the technology.
Hawk-Eye officials explained later that the particular instance brought together a unique set of circumstances that led to an operator making an input error, leading to what was shown on the television.
