Chris Gayle has drawn severe criticism after his interview with a female television reporter during the Big Bash League. But this new accusation is much bigger.
Gayle fined, defends 'inappropriate' comments to reporter as joke
The incident took place in February last year while the West Indies were in Sydney preparing for the 2015 World Cup.
A woman who was working around the West Indies cricket team accused Gayle of exposing himself to her.
According to The Sydney Morning Herald, the woman walked into what she thought was an empty dressing room during a practice session. But she claims that she saw Gayle and another player.
The 36-year-old Gayle is then alleged to have pulled his towel down to partially expose himself.
The West Indies team manager Richie Richardson was told about the incident. Richardson then sent an email to all West Indies players demanding women working around the team be treated with respect.
Gayle's management also declined to comment on the allegation.
