Virender Sehwag's international carrer looks finished after he was left out of the 30-man probables' list for the Champions Trophy, which will be held in England from June 6 to 23.
The dashing batsman, who was dropped from the ODI and Test teams recently, failed to make the cut in the list announced on Saturday morning.
Instead, the selection committee, headed by Sandeep Patil, preferred to inculde Under-19 World Cup-winning captain Unmukt Chand and Jammu & Kashmir all-rounder Parvez Rassol, who picked seven wickets against the Aussies in a tour game earlier this year.
Seamer Zaheer Khan and off-spinner Harbhajan Singh were also left out of the squad which will be pruned to 15 later.
Sehwag's omission was expected as he was not picked for India's recent ODI series against England at home in January, and dropped for the last two Tests against Australia.
Harbhajan hasn't played an ODI since June 2011 and also did not play in the last two Tests against Australia, though was part of the squad, while Zaheer, who is still nuring a calf injury, was dropped during the home Test series against England and ODIs against Pakistan that followed.
