Cowan, Starc dropped for Lord's Test

Usman Khawaja and Ryan Harris have been roped in the Australian squad for the second Ashes Test at Lord's.

Mitchell StarcThe duo will replace Ed Cowan and Mitchell Starc.

England, going into the match with a 1-0 advanatge following the win in the opener at Trent Bridge, had earlier named an uchanged squad for the Test.

However, there are doubts about Steven Finn's slection, even though Lord's happens to be his home ground. 

Tim Bresnan is a likely replacement. 

There were no such doubts about the dropping of Cowan and Starc though. Both struggled in Nottingham. 

The rest of the squad remains the same. 

Australia: Michael Clarke (captain), Shane Watson, Chris Rogers, Usman Khawaja, Steve Smith, Phillip Hughes, Brad Haddin, Ashton Agar, Peter Siddle, James Pattinson, Ryan Harris.
