Ajinkya Rahane tied the knot with Radhika Dhopvkar in traditional Maharashtrian style on Friday.
"Preparations done.. All set to start new innings of my life..Will be a married man tomorrow..," the player had tweeted on his twitter account (@ajinkyarahane88) a day before.
Radhika also hails from Mulund, the same area where Ajinkya belongs to. It was an arranged marriage.
Many of Rahane's teammates congratulated him and wished him the best for his new innings.
Rahane, who has thus far represented the Indian team in 10 Tests, 34 ODIs and 11 Twenty20 Internationals, was one of the few Indian batsmen to make an impact in an otherwise forgettable tour of England.
The 26-year-old scored a century in the second Test at Lord's and had back-to-back fifties in the third in Southampton.
