Mitchell Starc turned the game sharply as he came back into the attack and immediately struck. Marcus Stoinis tried to force the pace, looking to go over the infield, but mistimed it badly and ended up offering a simple catch to Madhav Tiwari at extra cover. Stoinis fell for just 1 off 2 balls, and suddenly the momentum shifted.

With that wicket, Starc made it two in two balls, and the atmosphere tightened instantly. Shashank Singh walked in under real pressure, and Starc was now on a hat-trick. Punjab Kings, who had been cruising earlier, suddenly found themselves wobbling as Delhi Capitals clawed their way back into the contest.

Mitchell Starc came in with all eyes on the hat-trick ball, but Shedge showed no nerves at all. He cleared the ropes first up with a massive six, instantly silencing the pressure.

Starc tried to respond, but Shedge kept the momentum going, backing it up with a boundary to keep the over alive. One delivery was mistimed as he was late on the shot, but he survived. Starc then switched to round the wicket, hoping for a change, but Shedge met him with another towering six to finish the over in style.

It was chaos at the death -- 16 runs and 2 wickets from the over and after 19 overs, Punjab Kings are 203 for 5, still in a strong position but with Delhi Capitals fighting hard back into the contest.
