Mumbai Indians finished their innings with late drama as Deepak Chahar and Corbin Bosch tried to squeeze out crucial runs in the final over.
Rasikh Salam Dar bowled the last over with composure, mixing slower deliveries and tight lines to restrict MI's finish. Bosch managed a mix of singles and a couple of runs but couldn't find the boundary as RCB's fielders held firm under pressure.
Chahar also chipped in with a single, but MI were largely kept in check, managing only small increments in the closing stages. The over ended with a dot ball, seemingly sealing a tight finish.
However, there was a brief twist as Chahar signalled for a review on a wide call, adding a moment of late suspense even as players began to walk off.
In the end, Royal Challengers Bengaluru successfully held MI down to 166, capping off a disciplined death-overs effort.
