MI 53-3 (6 Ovs) vs RCB | SCORECARD

Mumbai Indians began to find a bit of momentum in the sixth over after a shaky powerplay, with Tilak Varma and Naman Dhir working hard to keep the scoreboard moving.

Rasikh Salam Dar was introduced into the attack but didn't get the best start, with a misfield from Romario Shepherd gifting Tilak an extra boundary that shouldn't have come. Dhir also capitalised soon after with a well-placed shot for four, helping MI recover some lost ground.

There was a moment of fortune too -- a mistimed pull from Dhir went high towards deep square leg, where Jacob Bethell charged in but couldn't get there in time, leaving RCB frustrated.

The over ended with another twist as Suyash Sharma dropped a straightforward chance, letting MI off the hook once again. Tilak added a couple more runs before a dot ball closed the over.

A much-needed lift for MI -- 12 runs came off it, taking them to 53 for 3 after 6 overs, as they slowly tried to rebuild after a rocky start.
