RCB 94-4 (13 Ovs) vs MI 166-7 | SCORECARD

Ghazanfar continued his spell, but Krunal Pandya shifted gears brilliantly for Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Sharp running between the wickets brought an early couple before Krunal launched a massive six to put pressure back on MI.

He followed it up with smart strike rotation, while Jacob Bethell chipped in with singles to keep the scoreboard moving. RCB collected 12 runs from the over, moving to 94 for 3 after 12 overs and staying firmly in the chase.

However, Corbin Bosch returned to swing momentum back MI's way immediately. Bethell tried to force the pace but ended up finding Tilak Varma in the field, who completed a safe catch.

Bethell's steady innings came to an end at 27 off 27 balls, giving MI a much-needed breakthrough at a crucial stage.

Jitesh Sharma was sent in ahead of Tim David, but it turned into a surprisingly quiet start for the new batter.

He blocked the first delivery cautiously and continued defending through the rest of the over without scoring. Coming right after the wicket of Jacob Bethell, MI tightened the screws completely.

It turned out to be a rare wicket-maiden in the middle overs of an IPL game -- a momentum-shifting over that put pressure firmly back on RCB.
